Thank You To Our Donors
With Your Support, We Address Urgent Needs
At UCHC, we believe that one’s quality of health should not be pre-determined by zip code – that all people deserve dignity, respect, and the best healthcare services regardless of their ability to pay.
Who Does Your Donation Help
UCHC serves South Los Angeles, one of the largest and most densely populated pockets of poverty in the U.S.
Due to low income, many households are uninsured or underinsured.
The uninsured are less likely to receive medical services that early-detect chronic conditions such as asthma or diabetes, making them more likely to develop severe yet preventable health conditions.
How Does Your Donation Help
Donations help UCHC implement the new technology to provide better care and access to health information for our patients.
We focus on recruiting providers that reflect the demographics in our service area. Most of our staff speak both Spanish and English.
Your donation enables us to share vital health information through workshops, seminars, and community events.
With your support, we bring medical expertise directly to those who need it most and are not physically capable.
Your contributions help keep our facilities clean, modern, and more comfortable for patients and staff alike.
Donations helps optimize administrative processes and resource allocation, that lead to reduced waiting times.
Leadership & Training
Donations help empower our management and medical staff with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in patient care and operational excellence.
UCHC also coordinates support services, including transportation, translation, referrals for specialty care, and case management.
Expand Dental Care
We can provide comprehensive dental care, promoting overall well-being and ensuring that everyone in our community enjoys improved oral health.
“I’ve been a patient with UCHC for over 10 years now. I was raised in this community and growing up I never went to see a doctor because my mother did not have the money or insurance to take us.
The service you receive here is excellent and it got even better now that UCHC is growing. I am thankful for Dr. Chavez and his clinics because now my community is well taken care of.”
